The perfect side gate.

We paint the timber with a 5 year fence life paint and is available in multiple colours.

The gates are painted and assembled in our workshop so we can speed up installation at your house and also make minimal mess at the same time.
Before the gates are assembled we paint the timbers to ensure full coverage so when the timbers contract and expand with moisture and temperature changes you wont see lines of unpainted timber between the boards.

The side gates are assembled using a4 stainless steel screws so they stand up to constant bad weather.
We can supply and fit high quality exterior key access locks on our gates.

On all of our gates we fit weather resistant pad locks, galvanized pad bolts and galvanized cabin hooks.
The cabin hook will hold the gate open while you are carrying items or putting the bins out and not let the gate bang in the wind.
The frame on the gate is made with pressure treated 4x2 timbers. We hang the side gate with 3 correct size galvanized tee-hinges.

The timber posts and gate are kept 50mm or 2 inches off the ground. If the timber is touching the ground it will be sitting in water every time it rains and rot .
The timber brace on the back of the gate has to be going down to the hinge side to reduce sagging as much as possible.
On double side gates we fit a galvanized lockable drop bolt with a weather resistant pad lock.
